Loss of family caused by addiction

This is a message to a spouse regarding their loss of family due to addiction. I pray this example gives all who read it resolve to recover!

NOTE:
If I thought there was one thing to be done differently I would say so. I do not. Recovery is a choice and it is truly (ODAT) "one day at a time!"
If or when he surfaces again (if he is sober?) encourage him to call me. I would love to be a help for him. In the words of "One armed Jack" If I had a microphone I would dial it up to about a volume 9, Jack would holler at the white chip takers, "YOU GOTTA WANNIT! YOU GOTTA WANNA BE SOBER! YOU GOTTA WANNIT! That passion must continue daily in our lives if we are to continue our lives in recovery.
We pray for the ones we loose no matter what the cause. JESUS suffered and died so we could live. I feel the same way about the suffering we have in our lives as it is a teaching tool for those we will help!Good Health and Be Blessed! You are so special and I am PROUD OF YOU! den!  HOW TO BEAT THE SYSTEM, GUARANTEED!!!

"HOW TO BEAT THE SYSTEM,GUARENTEED"

05-11-08
“How to beat the system?
” !!!!Get out and stay out!!!
Guaranteed to work every time!
Easier said than done!
Not really.
The correct way to live requires each of us to make ethical decisions daily regarding our behaviors. We don’t always make the correct choices so we have step 10 of the self help programs. AA big Book Vol. 3, page 59, Volume 4, page???, look it up for practice!
When we obey the law there is no reason for the legal system to be involved in our lives. I.E. “beat the system!” When you are not involved in criminal behavior, you win! Don’t associate with those who are. We must change our relationships by developing new ones! “We may feel challenged here! We all are! Join the club!
” Go to A.A. and N.A. and other community organizations. Go back to church or go for the first time. People want to help you! Let them, but be responsible! No free lunch in life! Pay your own way. Respect yourself! Get out of your house and live like others. You will be glad you did, eventually!
NOTE:
Alcohol is a depressant drug which is addictive.
Be aware. If you partake, you are at risk! The reality can be quite regrettable!
Worth the risk? If you drink, you are culpable.

 The Disease Concept of Addiction.

The "Disease Concept of Addiction" is not new. The American Medical Association, American Psychiatric Association and the World Health Organizations all accept various themes of the concept as fact. Talk to any licensed medical practitioner and they will verify this. For suffering people, the goal is overcoming our individual prejudices and denial of addiction as disease of body, mind, emotion and spirit.

The four primary paradigms,(body, mind, emotion and spirit) acknowledge initial symptoms of the illness. Symptoms such as tolerance, loss of control, blackouts and recurring "PRPUUUBI's!" The Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous and "The Script-ACURE for Addiction" not only explain these answers but also offer solutions to the living problems produced by them.

Suffering with the illness is optional! Choose to recover!

Be Blessed with Good Health!

 (Powerlessness)

The Powerless aspect of addiction is simple to understand. Look at all the things you regret about the consequences of your substance use and ask yourself the question? Are things working out as I planned for them to work? Or not?
If your answer is, "NOT!" Powerlessness is the reason. If you didn't intend for these things to occur? That is "Powerlessness!" You are culpable! You were there, were you not?
Acceptance on page 449 of volume 3 in the AA Big Book explains the way to achieve acceptance of your addiction. Or not? I guess things are working out the way you planned them! Or, do the work, read the book! Or not! Suffering is optional, I promise!
Good Health and Be Blessed!

 Anyone can create wealth, sober!

The seventh tradition of Alcoholics Anonymous says," Every AA group ought to be self supporting declining outside contributions." This means being "selfreliant." Provide for your own support. When we become responsible for our own life we realize," If it's to be, It is up to me!" Plan our work and work the plan!. Working hard at sobriety means working hard at becoming successful. Like sobriety, wealth development is a process!

Enjoy the work! That is success! Work is success!

God Bless and Good Health!
