Hello all, it has been a challenging day. Mr. L is dealing with the mother of his children this holiday. He has several months of continuous sobriety, but, she is still using drugs. He is torn over his responsibility to his children and this women. It is very hard for him to put his own recovery in front of the problems he sees.
After explaining(overandover)he can not repeat the old behaviors of violence without consequences. His emotions are the challenge today. His willingness to seek counsel and follow instruction is his strongest asset. He is a good man sober. Using, he was dangerous to himself, mostly. He gets a B+ for his effort today!
Mr. C got suspended from his job(withpay) that is our government for you. His driving after a few beers landed him in the local pokey. He was cooperative so no awful charges like assault, homicide, or drugs! He is newly sober so we have a long way to go. He is attending AA and calling everyday for feedback.He gets a C.
