acure for addiction

ACURE for addiction is in print! 200plus pages...

Hello all, my sweet wife Pamela and I have been working our fool heads off. We have had the grandchildren a lot this summer and we love them dearly! They are such fun!
I have resumed my therapy program at the request of probation and parole and the judge in the county is glad I am back. My working relationship with these people is 20 years old. I wrote the book "The Script, ACURE for Addiction" because it is so very simple to accomplish this task. It is the hardest thing you may ever do but it is very simple.
AA teaches us "Don't think, don't drink, read the book (the AA Big Book) and go to meetings!". In AA we learn how to be accountable to other people for our behaviors. Where we go, what we do, what we say and to whom. We must learn the benefits of accountability. We are not in this world alone. Being "SOCIAL" is really hard work. Being a drunk is a lonely life! Those of you who have had this experience know! Cheer up! Read the book about how people used the program to change their lives. It will work for you also, I promise!
Good health and be blessed! Mr. Denny

 Hello bloggers. Sober/clean today? Curious?

It has been a long time since my last post. I remember a trip my wife Pamela and I made to Asia many years ago. When we returned to the office I inquired about the clients and the programs status at the weekly staff meeting. After I debriefed the staff I asked the question, (jokingly)"Did you miss me?" We had been away for 9 weeks.
My lead therapist said in a very methodical voice, "Were you gone?" He was kidding me of course but it did "Get me!" They were so well trained that they carried on the operations of the center very well without me! Effective training and an employee centered policy benefits everyones attitude and helps deliver the highest quality of care for the client! Teaching recovery is very rewarding and in the process I accomplish my life goals.
"When you love what you do, you will never work another day the rest of your life! That is my "story, and I will stick with it!"
GOOD HEALTH AND BE BLESSED! Mr. Denny

Going on assignment, posts will be slim!

Thank you for all your comments and input. I need to be away for awhile but I will return as soon as I can. I will post occasionally as time and opportunity permit. Thanks again, Good Health and Be Blessed! Mr. Denny

"The lie must die!" or our addiction will...

kill us, eventually! If we do survive it, what a miserable life to endure. That is just my take on the denial of addicts in early intervention and treatment. We will deny that we are out of touch with reality until some one is pouring blood back in our veins. This disease is a killer. What makes us want recovery? Pain! Lots of pain! When we get tired of the pain, we try recovery! Don't wait too long! You might not get another chance! Let today be your day! Good Luck and Be Blessed! Mr. Denny

“Is your cup half full or half empty?

When you view life as if everyone in the world is out to spoil your party or your day or life , your attitude will not allow for the sun to shine on who you are, in my opinion. I associate myself with others who have like minded activities and goals. I volunteer daily in my small attempt to offer comfort, support, provisions and hope to those suffering from addiction. My “thick skin” is like a rhinos, sticks and stones nor negative words have any affect on this sober man. Do you wonder why they read my posts? If it only gives them someone to “lash out at,” so be it. Better me than their wife or children or pet. None the less, tomorrow is a church day and I will offer more tomorrow. If it does not “rise to the nuclear destruction” some wish, well, click on down the link. Perhaps some will benefit from encouraging words? Good Health and Be Blessed! Mr. Denny
