acure for addiction

Every addicts challenge," recover or suffer and die!"
Back to Full Blog

Mr. E is "hung up" in the insanity of battling with a foe which pleasures in watching him suffer! Step one of recovery begins,"We admitted we were powerless....!" Defined, powerless means without control, unable to affect change!
Surrender is the only solution! Quit fighting against and with addiction! Get step 1! Powerless! Stop fighting! Get off the highway,(a bigger truck is coming!)Can't swim? STAY OUT OF THE WATER!!! Recovery is not rocket science! Some of us like to suffer in public because of the attention we get. Others of us believe we deserve the punishment? When we work this recovery program, we heal our injuries, control our choices(behaviors)and just for today live free of the destruction of addiction! (or not?) Choose recovery today, "act yourself into better thinking!" Live well today! Good Health and Be Blessed! Mr. Denny Goodpenny www.acureforaddiction.com

How true Dennis. When I didn't believe my program told me to just "act like you believe". In time it all took root. Keep up the good blogging!

I'm a recovering addict too. I believe Jesus christ shows us how to quit fighting and turn the other cheek. There is no greater love then this. that a man should lay down his life for the ones he loves. This is what Jesus did for us when he died for our sins. Who can be like Jesus. watch this video on my blog titled "for me". To me it makes it so much clearer how much love is most powerful. but yet Jesus the son of God who could at anymoment asked God to send down as many angels as needed to fight and save him. instead choose to die for our sins for the impact to let us know what true love is. He choose not to fight and this is surrender too me. plus its the hardest form of surrender to actually accomplish. I will be putting some deep stuff up soon. Then I will have too suffer like Jesus. In a simular way. for the truth will be made known. But thats basically how i see it. his children are baptized with the same batizim he was batized with. We go out to the dark world. to give love unconditional and share the message. and when we are rejected they will persucute us, and miss treat us. and we will try to be humble and turn the other cheek. and be baptized in the same baptizem Jesus was baptized in.

Thank you for your reply! What church do you go to? May I ask you a personal question? Do people who are not yet reborn deserve to survive the disease of addiction? Do you believe addiction is a disease or only sin? I have no contention with your belief in Christ as I also believe. Your ministry is appreciated.

Hello Mr.Denny

You are right. Some of us suffer inpublic for the attention sand some suffer because we feel we deserve it. It is a hard battle. It takes time, presistance, knowledge, faith, and hope.

I read this when it was posted but at that time.... Well you know where i was. Not to good. I am getting better do to my ACTIONS in staying sober.

And believe it or not i am gaining some spirituality and it feels pretty good.
