Sir Carl talks about the family disease of alcoholism...
Back to Full Blog

Sir Carl, well said. I once attended a meeting where a young lady remarked "I just want to be comfortable in my own skin." She seemed so sad that day. Having lost my parents to the disease I relate directly to the craving of comfort in "my own skin." The AA program has given me many tools to work with and a board of directors who have the experience to "make it happen" for me! Staying sober O.D.A.T. "one day at a time" attending meetings, seeking instruction, attending events, meals, celebrations and all manner of other community programs have provided me and my wife Pamela with a life we couldn't even dream of before the program. Your program will teach volumes about recovery to your family. Have faith, pray and never miss an opportunity to live "your life large!" Good Health and Be Blessed!
