Loss of family caused by addiction
Back to Full Blog

This is a message to a spouse regarding their loss of family due to addiction. I pray this example gives all who read it resolve to recover!

NOTE:
If I thought there was one thing to be done differently I would say so. I do not. Recovery is a choice and it is truly (ODAT) "one day at a time!"
If or when he surfaces again (if he is sober?) encourage him to call me. I would love to be a help for him. In the words of "One armed Jack" If I had a microphone I would dial it up to about a volume 9, Jack would holler at the white chip takers, "YOU GOTTA WANNIT! YOU GOTTA WANNA BE SOBER! YOU GOTTA WANNIT! That passion must continue daily in our lives if we are to continue our lives in recovery.
We pray for the ones we loose no matter what the cause. JESUS suffered and died so we could live. I feel the same way about the suffering we have in our lives as it is a teaching tool for those we will help!Good Health and Be Blessed! You are so special and I am PROUD OF YOU! den!
